>>13718671It's wonderful here indeed; but it grieves me every time I see photos of pre-war Germany. In the time before the bombs consumed our cities, this land must have looked like something out of a fairytale. Nowadays, only smaller towns here and there have preserved that charme, but the big centres, rebuilt from scratch after the war, are generic and soulless.
