Evolve Scyther. Grab a Houndour and get Houndoom. Grab a Eevee and grab either Jolteon or Espeon.

Solid idea where do I grab eevee?

And I cannot evolve scyther until I beat the E4 when that iron island guy gives me the metal coat

If you're playing Platinum, I'd suggest Houndoom. he'll be a lifesaver against Lucian's Bronzong, and can smash through Aaron's Scizor. He can also set up Nasty Plots on Cynthia's Spiritomb then sweep through the rest of her team, but make sure he goes faster than her Garchomp.

Actually the guy at Iron Island gives you a Riolu egg. Also you could have gone to Iron Island BEFORE the E4, you know.

Anyways you get Eevee from the chick in Hearthome. Her house is right next to the Pokemon Center

Oh yeah, I think I went and grinded Magnemites for it. That was really tedious, don't bother unless you REALLY want to evolve your Scyther

I googled it and I'm getting mixed answers. One says inside of iron island cave another says after you beat the e4 and others say when you get the national dex

Byron gives you one on Iron Island after the E4, otherwise you just catch random Pokemon (Bronzor, Magnemite, etc.) to find one.

You don't need two more pokemon.
Get 2 max revives or like 5 hyper potions and you're good to go.
