It was a little over two years after the Japanese release of Black and White that XY were announced.

I just hope that the next generation is still on the 3DS. I want to be able to not get another console for at least another 3-4 years.

I just hope they go back to the original DS, so I don't have to buy a new system at all. It'd be pretty nice if they made a game in Gen VII where there were only Kanto Pokemon instead of all the other ones, they were the only ones I liked.
