The name rater's always confirmed. I doubt they would take that out. Just like I doubt they would let you rename a Pokemon that's not originally yours. It's something that's been the same since the beginning.

Well default pokemon names were in all caps before Black & White, and then they arbitrarily changed to lowercase. So now any transferred pokemon will have no way of having their all caps names changed. :\

That's already been the case though. I doubt they'd change it suddenly from gen V when the Pokemon was originally uppercase in gens III and IV.

i never kept shit with caps names, i specifically renamed all legendaries i caught to have proper case names

Unless you renamed them all before transferring unless they can evolve then the name changes over when they evolve only event Pokemon are stuck with ALL CAPS.
