It seems like you'd actually have to be trying very hard to make Mewtwo look unimpressive and ugly, but they've done it twice.
Fusing Mewtwo with a Seismitoad and a Tangrowth is not how you make it look better.

I would have greatly preferred something that looked much bulkier yet still sleek, like Deoxys-D.

I really don't know how I feel about making it part fighting-type... I never really cared about him in the first place, but wasn't the whole point to him being a powerful psychic-type? Of all types they could've gave it, why fighting, the opposite of psychic? Why not dark or steel (wielding a giant spoon lel) or something? It just seems so..... I don't know. It kinda destroys his purpose?
