Let's talk about types.
-Steel has now lost both its resistances to Ghost/Dark-type attacks. Obviously, this hampers Steel defensively, but it gives pokemon like Gengar superb neutral coverage with its Ghost-moves only resisted by Dark and only Normal being immune, putting it on par with Dragon as an offensive type in terms of numbers of resistances and types immune. While Dragon is only Super vs itself, Ghost is Super vs itself, and Super vs Psychic.
-Fairy might be the best defensive type in the game. With immunity to Dragon, the current best attacking type, with 3 relevant resistances (Bug/Fight/Dark) and 2 uncommon weaknesses (Steel/Poison), Fairies find themselves truly only threatened by things like Scizor's Bullet Punch or Jirachi's Iron Head.
