That's what I do now with my pedometer for my cardio. Not 100% accurate, but close enough. I'll just feel like I have a pikachu box shield strapped to my arm since I have an XL

yeah, but if X/Y were to be running while the 3DS was asleep with eggs in your party, you would get closer to hatching them.
