4th gen dissapointed me so I let go off pokemon for a while and skipped gen 5.
As for gen 6...
I am VERY hyped for it. All the things they added will improve the pokemon series by a lot

from what i recall, i remember telling my brother that there wasn't going to be a lot of features in BW because they really didn't 'show' any of them.

X and Y looks and has shown a shit ton of features

To be honest he isn't missing out on anything game-changing. Gen 2 had Dark/Steel type, gen 3 had lots of new stuff and gen 4 had the physical/special split. Gen 5 didn't exactly add too much.

Gen 5 was shit.
The region was bland, most of pokemon were shit...the only ones who like it are mericunts because "USA USA USA"
