Maybe. But it will probably take some time. 3DS isn't even fully cracked/the documentation hasn't leaked yet.
That's really far from emulating Pokebank. Real fucking far.

But Pokébank is cloud storage, not on the system itself. By emulate I don't mean the niche usage we're used to, referring to roms and such, I mean the strict definition "match or surpass", in this case match.

In other terms, I'm asking if someone could potentially create an open-source, most-likely free, way to store your Pokémon, whether via cloud storage or on your personal computer. Then I went on to ask if there was already an equivalent using services like Pokésav.
