So I haven't been on board with pokemon since gen 4, I disliked most of 4 but it had some redeeming qualities.

And Gen 5's Pokemon were a abominable Disney-esk TOQTFORME disaster, So much so that regardless of how the rest of the game looked/played couldn't get past the lousy Pokemon. Seriously there were like four good Pokemon, Mothera is the only one that comes to mind of the top of my head.

But after seeing gen 6 I've really gotten my hopes up.
Most of the Pokemon look phenomenal! Barring more inadimate object pokemon like the sword thing.
Its like they went back to the last time the Pokemon looked decent and started the art direction from there

What I don't understand is all the hate for the new Pokemon, especially the mega forms, they look amazing and I haven't seen one I don't like yet.
