Is this b8? I don't really get it. If it's not b8, then why are you so unintelligent. With all the changes Pokemon has gone through over the years, it is definitely not the same game. Especially with X and Y, this series as evolved in and of itself.

Maybe I just don't like video games anymore. I feel like it's cool if you have like 2 or 3 games that are essentially the same game...but...we're on how many games now? And it's still the same exact fucking game.

What changes? New types? Your Pokemon follows you for that one iteration? Breeding? Okay cool...but none of that adds all that much..and it's been quite a while since those were added. The online play sucks and the game is still "catch this shit...grind this shit..." with nothing else to do on the side.

The thing is, battling, especially competitively, is always changing. With new regions to explore, new pokemon to catch and raise, new teams to build, new characters to love, I don't get tired of it. Maybe you just don't like video games. People who play sports game or FPS games have way more repetitiveness than something like Pokemon. I think you need to look into it a bit more. If you actually researched how the game changed over time, maybe you'd understand.

There's only 6 games if you want to be technical. As much as BW2 was a 'story sequel' it was a glorified "3rd version".

As for changes:
- Special Attack/Defense Split (Gen 2)
- Gender (Gen 2)
- Hold Items (Gen 2)
- Happiness (Gen 2)
- Forms (Gen 2, but moreso Gen 3/4)
- Physical/Special change (Gen 4)
- Types (Gen 2; Gen 6)
- Double Battles (Gen 3)
- Triple/Rotation Battles (Gen 5)
- Nature (Gen 3)
- Abilities (Gen 3)
- Mega Pokemon (Gen 6)

And more that I can't think of right now.

If you honestly don't know how those added to, affected or changed battles in the games, I don't know what to say.

And ever generation has had 'minigames' of sorts. Be it slots, Voltorb Flip, Musicals, the film studio, the contests, Pokeathlon, etc/whatever.
