so we're all waiting for october 12th, when everything about x&y is revealed, but you don't realize that this is just the beginning.

after the release of x&y there will be about 420 fully evolved pokemon. we currently know about 11 mega evolutions and upon release we will have access to and knowledge of somewhere around 15 or 20 of these. over the next 2-3 years, leading up to gen 7, gamefreak will slowly reveal and release more mega evolutions. through this process they will keep the hype going and avoid mid gen downtime. every month, every week, every day, every hour we will be riddled with the most brutal anticipation as gamefreak teases us with promises of new mega evolutions in every twitter update, publication, anime episode, pokemon smash shitshow, pokemon themed pizza commercial, etc.

there will be event megas, megas you can only get by playing side games, megas you can only get by buying merchandise, megas you can only get by eating john gamefreaks mentally handicapped nephews dirty asshole...
