If you think about it, mewtwo Y is mewtwo with more mew DNA, and mewtwo X has more human DNA, so it makes sense that the tail is shorter

Regarding the worst feature, its gotta be the legs for me

What is meant was that mewtwo X definately has more DNA of something else in him, as opposed to mewtwo Y having more mew DNA, all we know in the games is that mewtwo came from mew (thanks to its name and the journals in pokemon mansion), it isn't specified what other DNA it has, it could be part conkeldurr for all we know, I only used human as an example to get my point across

Yewtwo looks like a step back for Mewtwo rather than a Mega Evolution in my opinion.

How does one do that? Claim an evolution and actually make the thing look pre evolved.

At the least Xewtwo looks remotely like what it evolved from.

If you ask me, Y form makes it look much more like an evolution. X form looks like a failed attempt at making the original Mewtwo, mangled and unpure.

Don't forget Mewtwo is a clone of Mew. Naturally, as it evolved, it got purer - as in, closer to the original, Mew. Makes perfect sense to me.
