>>13777753Klaus was terrified. Was this Pokemon... his first... eating him?! He tried to close his eyes... This must have been a dream, he thought! But no, it was real, as if the pain he felt didn't prove that to him. He cried hard, not only from the pain of the poison, but from the psychological terror he was going through at this moment. He tried to wring himself out of it's mouth and run away from the Pokemon, but he couldn't; the poison was keeping him trapped in place! He could only lay down in horror, moving slowly into the Pokemon's gaping maw. Sometimes, saliva from the Pokemon's mouth would drip and touch Klaus' skin, making him shudder.
Swalot's tongue grazed over the boy, feeling him, tasting him and making him feel terrified. Klaus looked to his right and to his left; he was inside of Swalot's ever increasing mouth. Purple surrounded him on all corners. He looked out of the Pokemon's mouth, looking at the outside world for the last time. Tears streamed harder down his cheeks as he saw his Pokegear out of reach. He was so close to calling his mother... If he still had it, he could be able to call her! He wasn't that far out of town, he thought to himself. Maybe, just maybe, he could reach out and grab it! An impossibility; but it gave him solace in thinking on the possibility. He tried to extend his hand, but simply couldn't. His sadness ate at him, hurting harder than any poison could ever do to him. He would never be able to talk to his mother again...
The Pokemon decided that it had tasted the boy enough, and was satisfied with the moral boost that dominating the poor boy gave it. It slowly closed its mouth, as Klaus cried. “NO! NO! NOT LIKE THIS! PLEASE!” he yelled out, seeing the light close off. Suddenly, everything went dark; Swalot had shut out any hope Klaus had. Torment overtook him. He had suddenly realized the extremity of it all; he was truly doomed, and was going to be digested by the cruel Pokemon.
