I honestly think the dual-type moves will become the element that's super-effective against a Pokemon (Ice Punch becomes Ice against Garchomp, Fighting against Snorlax) but not both at once, imagine Fire Punch against Steel-types not named Heatran.

Unsure - if you use Fire Punch against Registeel, is it 2X effective or 4X effective? Which type is used to calculate STAB? Does Infernape gets double STAB on it?

Case B - split damage
Example - Ice Punch
The move's power is divided in two hits that occur at once. One is Ice-type, the other is Fighting-type. Both can get STAB and both calculate weaknesses apart. Your opponent gets hit with a 37-38 Power Ice move and a 37-38 Power Fighting move.
