The actual game footage of quilladin has changed a lot of peoples mind about him on /vp/. Looks like the tides have turned again and its time for another poll.

I just plan on picking it because it was one of the first Starters I saw and fell in love with it. After the others were revealed, i began questioning if I should pick it or be happier with something else then sat in that state of questioning my choice but never knowing how I felt about the outcome.
So I just plan on staying with furb...I mean Fenniken to avoid thinking

I was just feeling confused about his evolution. I didn't really know what to think.
The in-game footage kind of made me like him a bit more though.
Still a little confused with the evo though.
Although Chespin is my first pick and i'm sticking it out until the end.

Froakie was the goofiest of all starters. Many people disliked it. People who DID like it started to feel the need to defend it. Resulting in a loud fraction (I wouldn't say minority/majority, because polls show all starters to have a comparable fanbase).

See the same thing happen with people who like Quilladin.

Conclusion, strong hate among haters brings forth strong love among lovers.

I was just surprised since Broakie and Froakie masterrace were bigger in numbers than Fennefags and Chespinfags. Or at least it felt so. In the polls Froakie was winning too.

Are you kidding? It's easily the least kid-friendly of all the starters. Chespin had a goofy smile while Fennekin was furbait. A ton of people love Froakie.

Same here, and I think thats how most people felt. They were expecting something completely different out of chespin and I think it surprised everyone. After the initial shock though I dont think its that bad anymore. But fenniken got a lot better with its evolution. Sure it furbait but I love the staff and cant wait for its final evolution. Broakie is awesome just like everyone expected. Not since gen 3 have I liked every starter. Lets hope playing the game wont change that.

It was Chespin's fanbase. They just quieted down after the second evo was shown to be fast and ugly. Though it looks a lot better in game now so who knows.
