Pidgey the worst though. No stats, no moves, and evolves at WAY too high levels for what it's worth.

Just a hypothetical, but there could be more than one Bird pokemon who could qualify as "regional bird". For example, Spearow has basically all the same qualifications as Pidgey. There's still a whole Pokedex to be revealed, no need to be close-minded.

Why do you have a tradition of using the regional bird? Just because you used the first shit you found on route 2 when you were 6 doesn't mean every team has to be starter, rat, bird, bug like when we played blue.

I don't know it would just feel weird not using it, and I like talonflame. having your fly user set in stone early in the game is also good, and I might not like flying types that I find later on

I feel you, OP. I love the Litleo line too, so I'm going to have to choose between 3 amazing fire Pokemon.

I love Chespin, but I really fucking love Skiddo/Gogoat.

And smoothfrog is great but so is Skrelp.

I feel the same, but I'm worried about the games length, with the data size, and then Timeline, I'm afraid the game will have quite a bit of bulk to it. Along with timed events or something like in Animal Crossing. Not sure if I will be able to rerun after my main playthrough.
