He knew Darkrai specialized in putting pokemon to sleep, and he knew heracross was the best pokemon to be put to sleep if he taught it sleep talk. Then it didn't even fucking matter.
Somehow a Guts boosted STAB super effective megahorn coming from a HERACROSS doesn't do shit to a darkrai which has pitiful defenses, but then sceptile just needs to get in a couple of leaf blades and it's lights out.
And on Pikachu, I see WHY they reset his strength so he's not fucking Latios-tier in a brand new region, and at least this time they provided a reason for it, it's still bullshit. They should have just made a new protagonist for each gen instead of reusing Ash, but at this point it's far too late. In any case, I wonder if this is *possibly* the last gen, will Ash finally win the league or will they make him lose again for old times sake?
