>>13792356Those were among the most unique found in the last generation. They're legitimately monsters, and I'm glad the Pokemon universe has expanded in a way that's sustainable and allows for the inclusion of interesting designs like the ones I listed.
Of course that needs to be balanced out with more mundane designs that feel the closest to the first gen than probably any previous gen before this one. Looking at Bunnelby, Pancham, and even the Starters, they all give me a 1st gen vibe.
When it comes to Pokemon, I'm a sticker for design, so after having seen 500, you start to allow for stuff like the fairy pokemon and whatnot for a little more variety. I'm not quite sure how the new type will affect the games balancing, but that's not my concern. It's purely on the design.
