What happens to trainers who start in towns that the protagonists aren't born in?
Say for example you're born in Blackthorn city and wish to become a trainer, it's common sense to challenge the Gym right at your doorstep and then proceed to work to others.
There is no official Gym order and only works that way to convince the MC so would that mean that the Gym in question would handicap themselves for the challenger in question?
What would their handicapped teams like look if so?
