Other good sprites: Nidoking, Parasect, Onix, Dragonite, Scyther, Alakazam. They all look really badass and/or evil and are nowhere near as awkward and goofy as most of the others.
Worst: Exeggcute, I've hated that deformed piece of shit since the day I saw it the first time. Why is that one egg so huge? What the hell?
Other horrible sprites: Kangaskhan, Golem, Machoke, Golbat, Seaking, because they're all so derpy.
