this guy is one of my worst fears in pokemon showdown random battles. if i don't have a dark type or a choice item to stick him with it's usually fucking over.

and then i played this match and found out even dark type isn't always enough. fucking sigilyph.

I really wouldn't be surprised if Sigilyph was originally intended by whoever designed it to be an evolution of Unown, at least until Masuda got ahold of it and said NOPE, NO OLD POKEMON.
