to death, MRancher is an unparalleled experience in raising and becoming a champion.
Battling will, however, keep Pokemon at the top forever and ever, since Digimon games rarely have the gameplay oomph Pokemon does (the best one would be Dawn/Dusk for the DS, which can be comparable, but with an infinitely worse post/lategame), and MRancher tends to be laughable in that aspect (it's simple and effective for what it is, but you'll never pick it up for the purpose of battling).
