So once again I'm trying to predict the numerical order of this generation's Pokemon. This is what I've come up with thus far.

Some empty spaces:
652, 655, 658: Obviously spots for the 3rd stage starter evos
660: Bunnelby evo
662: Middle evolution of Fletchling
674: Helioptile evo
679: Swirlix evo
681: Spritzee evo
684: (possible) Furfrou prevo
691: Espurr
704: Clauncer evo
706: Skrelp evo
723: Honedge evo
723: (Possible) Aulotte prevo
735: Tyrunt evo
737: Amaura evo
759: 1st stage Noivern prevo
760: 2nd stage Noivern prevo
I believe in all there will be around 123 Pokemon, the final number being 773.

Helioptile is encountered in a mountainous area, presumably after at least two badges, probably three looking at the map.

Spritzee and Swirlix are probably caught at that garden area in between Lumoise and Santalune. Furfrou is either there or later. Flabebe is an early Pokemon. Honedge, if the Smash demo is any indication (it is), is caught around the time Inkay is, or before it.

Clauncher/Skrelp will be after Dedenne. Just a hunch.

Hence why I said possible. You never know, if it's the regional dog it might have a prevo. It wouldn't be the 1st gimmick Pokemon to have one (Gogoat).

Orotto is probably at that city directly north of Paris City, since it comes at level 25-29. Only other forest is really far away.

Eh, coat customisation is probably a fair bit trickier than making Skiddo rideable. Seeing as it and Gogoat probably use the same rig.

Smash demo is different from the PAX demo because the Smash "demo" was actually just the game with preloaded Pokemon in the party. They walked on the beginning route, fought a low level Fletchling, then they moved to where Inkay is. It had all the normal trainers, Rock Smash rocks, etc, all loaded there. Very unlikely that it's not the actual game.

A trailer shows the trainer walking on an early route (known because there's screens of it with a sign that says Route 2) and he runs into Pancham. The trailer then cuts and also shows a Litleo encounter, implying they're both around that point.
