Guys, I'm in a dilemma.
I just picked up a 3DS in preparation for X/Y.
I have not played since Diamond/Pearl.

The question is, do I pick up Black 2 or White 2 to get in gear, or wait until X/Y release to avoid burning out?
Any of you guys doing anything similar?

I have not yet picked up any 3DS titles, so it leaves that open as well.

Black 2/White 2 are fine games, but not a whole lot changed about the game between Gen IV and Gen V so you would probably be just fine playing X/Y if you elect to go that route.

One thing about B2W2 is that they are direct sequels, so you may miss out on some of what little story continuity there is.

both, you need bw1/2 to transfer anything from your gen 4 games

if you no longer have those you can skip gen 5 and come back to it later

Either play BW2, HGSS or Platinum

You can beat them in a month, even if you rake your time.
