why do people do this? Fine from what we have
Fennekin
Noivern (unless a better Dragon is revealed)
Spritzee evo (unless it gets retarded looking)
an Electric type
a Water type
a Dark/Ground/Steel/Fighting type

its hard to pick stuff without a full list or revealed evos. Would pick Pangoro but that 4x fairy weakness isn't very pretty

Well, as I go through the game, I doubt I'll be keeping just one constant team. I want to mix and match to give me the biggest leg up against each of the gyms that I can get. For Victory Road and the Elite 4? It'll probably be the six pokes that distinguished themselves the most over the course of the journey.

I want to be sure that I have a team of Pokemon that I will like for my first playthrough, or else I'll may not even feel motivated to finish the game. And with the introduction of Pokemon Bank, I have the opportunity to restart my game whenever I want.

I Need a flyer (unless Swirlix becomes one) and a Bug type. I'll probably use Vivillion at the start too but I'll wait and see if there are any better/cooler Bug types.
