Do you think they've learned since Hoenn?

Ash was immature and moronic again, Ash had all three starters, he had two gym leaders tagging along with him, it didn't even try to follow the games, the game personalities were non-existant, Iris is pretty tsun-tsun like Misty, etc.

Kalos is going to be a parallel to Hoenn. We have three kids accompanying Ash. Clemont is the gym leader, Serena seems like May, and Clemont's sister is the new Max.

I expect Ash to mature up but I can't get over the "New Max" part.
