Daily reminder that due to the one Megaevo limit, the only megas that will be used will be megas of already popular overpowered shit like Blaziken and Garchomp. The bottom-tier Pokemon that did deserve boosting will still be doomed to be forgotten gimmicks.

Why are they giving megaevos to the pokemon that clearly don't need them anyway? Ampharos I can understand, but garchomp and blaziken? come on.

And mawile shouldn't just gotten an evolution outright. Megaevos should be for the pokemon that are already 3 stages and can't have another normal evo.

It looks like the trainer uses the item to activate the Mega Evo. Items used by trainers have always had priority, unless they start calculating the -Trainer's- speed or some shit.

I imagine it'll work much the same way priority does now. Whichever Pokemon is fastest Mega Evolves first, but since Mega Evolution itself takes priority over anything else, the slower Pokemon will also Mega Evolve immediately after the first. After both Pokemon have completed Mega Evolution, the game recalculates priority based on any new speed changes ( if there are any) and the Pokemon that is now the fastest will go first.

In the case that one Pokemon is faster than another, Mega Evolution still has absolute priority so the slower Pokemon can still Mega Evolve no matter what, but if it's new speed is still slower, it still goes last in actual combat.
