What you're thinking of is "effeminate", which is what Braixen and the Chikorita line are. Effeminate, in case you're just as bad at English as you clearly are at Spanish, is a term used to describe males with generally feminine physical features, kinda like a stereotypical gay guy or that one kid you knew in high school who was so obviously gay but always denied it.
This doesn't apply to Spanish. All nouns in Spanish are either masculine or feminine, and are referred to in a similar way as an actual male or female. Names with masculine or feminine endings are only given to the respective gender. Therefore, "Chikorita" would be feminine, matching Chikorita's features quite well, and by that logic, Chikorita should be more commonly female than male. But fuck logic, this is Game Freak we're talking about.
