Since Nintendo hates our region, how are the rest of the Latinos handling this generation of the Pokemon Series? I'm thinking of buying that horrible 2DS just because I don't want the 3D gimmick and we already loose a bunch of Nintendo stuff (like Club Nintendo) just for being Latinos, and a 3DS/3DSXL would be a waste of money. I think it's impossible for me to get X/Y at release with all the shipping stuff and whatnot, so I'm still thinking in how to deal with the spoilers but that's another topic.

What are you guys exactly planning to do? will you be able to play X/Y at release? how? and what are your thoughts on this gen so far?
