All joking aside, is it possible that Orotto might just be a big hoax/ruse by Game Freak?

Why would they include Orotto in the trailers beginning in June, and yet not acknowledge his existence at all?

There must be reason behind it. I'm not saying that Orotto is fake, but something is going on here /vp/.
