Hitmonlee, Hitmontop, Staraptor, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Keldeo, Meloetta, Growlithe, Pinsir, Snubbul and Teddiursa dont have impressive arms either. If it had to do with punches it would benefit from Iron Fist.

Close combat means bitch spanking. "In fight'', in japanese. I want to know why cant a fire/fighting humanoid bipedal falcon perform such move, while, say, teddy bears can.

Also, close combat is made for hit and run, revenge killing, sweeping etc. Its a fast pace oriented move.

Flare Blitz and Hi-Jump Kick are already damn good on blaziken, why give it another move that wouldn't benefit it at all?

Are you fucking kidding me? Hi Jump Kick is why Medicham and Hitmonlee are viable outside of RU. It's why Blaziken is so amazing. It could be argued that Hi Jump Kick is the best move in the game.

Close Combat lowers both defenses. You're probably thinking of Superpower, which lowers Attack and Def.
