well yeah he's ugly, but stat wise he's a beast and has an incredible movepool;

Crunch
Ice Punch
drain punch/highjump kick
dragon dance.

He's bulky enough to set up on his own. I've sweeped many teams with this set utilizing drain punch to get life back.

top lel, they're one of the most common Pokemon in OU. Super effective against five types including Steel, resist Stealth Rock, most have a priority STAB move (Mach Punch) and only two weaknesses (both of which are fairly uncommon outside of STAB).

Well, excluding conkeldurr and machamp I was mainly referring to mid tier and low tier fighting types like the hitmons and medicham and hariyama, they really didn't need another weakness. Now they're just as trashy as ever.

One could argue that the mid to low tier Steel types (Mawile, Aggron, Durant, Bastiodon, etc.) need buffs as well. But on the whole, Steel and Fighting are both very strong types.

Metagross has a STAB SE move against fairies. Assuming that he finally gets Shift Gear, he'll be fine. Otherwise he'll hit BL/UU at worst.

Heracross (on the other hand) has been nerfed. It's a shame since he's my favourite Pokemon.

You kidding me? Fighting, Steel, and Dragons NEEDED the nerfs. Doesn't stop me from still using my favourites, regardless.

Because something gives me a feeling that the Fairy type is something I shouldn't be too worried about. Now the bonuses to the Ghost type is what legit worries me.

not really, in most cases where i've been able to just buff my way through super-effective moves (due to his bulk) i'll now be forced to trade out if someone brings in a fairy type pokemon

um, I'm pretty sure fairy types are going to be very popular. Not only are they eupereffective against dragons, but they are completly immune to dragon moves (like dark types are to psychic)

and on top of all the new fairy pokemon a lot of old school pokemon have had their types changed to the fairy typing....like azumarill/clafairy/and grandbull
