My parents were assholes and never bought me a gameboy when I was really young so I had to admire pokenon through the anime and cards. Eventually they got divorced and started to buy my love which is when I hit my first game. I've played every gen for the sake of being well versed.

Really? I remembe in Kindergarden we first started with the collectible cards and game cards, then we all started getting the pokemon games (Red, Blue and Yellow) and by the time we were hardly 6 we were super pros in pokemon in kindergarden and had tournaments and stuff.

While all my friends were playing Sapphire and Emerald I was playing Mario and Kirby. I finnaly asked a friend if I could try his Pearl. My first battle was against a Roselia with an Azelf and I caught a Pichu. In August of 2007 I finnaly picked up Daimond. I ended up getting at least one game from each Gen Blue, Yellow, and Crystal were emulated.

Red > Ruby > Silver > Leaf Green > Crystal > Emerald > Diamond > all the older games I hadn't played yet > Platinum > the rest in order

Pearl is the only one I've never played or finished.

Crystal was the first one I owned, because my parents were some of those who thought Pokemon was some kind of satanic thing. I acquired the game and played it (and future games) without my parents' knowledge.

I did play Red, Blue, and Yellow on friends' Game Boys, though.
