"But it's cause they don't want you to breed the starter too soon or some shit", well unless they can stop me from getting my flawless Ditto in this game out-the-gate with Poke-bank they failed.
And on that note, I normally DO hate when starters don't look "gender neutral". I'm strange, I like being able to look at my Pokemon and know it looks like it could be it's gender. My favorite starters have always been the ones that don't look overly masculine so that I don't have to worry about the gender. But THIS is the first Starter to looks this overtly female ... would be nice if the gender divide matched that for people who like to have their Pokemon's gender match their look.
But w/e, I can likely just trade someone one of my shiny flawless Axew from my RNG days for a flawless Female Fox if I wait a few days after release..
