Bring out your 3ds, show her the damage, and explain how you're out $180 because of your cousin's action and you want to be compensated.
Your cousin might be a lost cause, but don't just roll over without a fight. Tell your parents. Make this a known issue.
If you let 'little' things like a broken 3ds slip by, you're going to start letting bigger things slip by. What if your cousin had broken a window in your car? Or tipped your motorcycle over while goofing around (just examples). Would you not want to be compensated for any damage?
