I am super excited too. I love the animal it's based on, I bet it will be bulky and I LOVE bulky pokemon, I love ice types, I love its ability, it's cute as SHIT. All around it is a great looking pokemon that I am looking forward too. The only other pokemon that I am looking forward to more is Pancham.

Looks like a moderator on the art section of neo pets forums touched up a neo pets fan drawing made by her 10 year old sister and entered it into a nintendo contest to turn the winning piece into a real pokemon for the next game

I could even stomach some of gen 5 but seriously. Seriously. No opinion about it these designs are the ugliest we have ever seen in pokemon period and I want the people coming up with these designs fired so we never have to look at them again or fear to see them in future games. I am 100000/10 mad at how bad these pokemon are.

It's good for sure. It depends on his move pool. At the very least it has a base 102 ice type move. But Return is physical and some of us are thinking Amaura is gonna be more special based.

That'd work as well.

Point being, it's likely to be a slow special tank, when it needs to be a fast physical sweeper to use that typing properly.

Alternatively some new status move or item to help with it's weaknesses and some new, amazing, normal-type special move is introduced.

I think it's more likely to get 65 speed to make it too slow to be really useful, but fast enough that is wastes a bunch of points that should be in its inevitably measly defense.

Not that anon, but he really doesnt actaully 'look' like a fossil.

Although his design is obviously of prehistoric nature, he doesnt carry that same 'tough' and raggedy vide that the other fossil mons carry

Just because they're a "fossil" pokemon doesn't mean they have to be part rock. They use science on the fossils and bring them back to life. Probably through some cloning process or something or another.
