My question is, is it possible to take a pokegen'd pokemon that appear "legit", breed it to create an off spring, then send it to/raise it in X/Y(as a true legit pokemon)? I'm a casual player who really doesn't give a fuck about online battles/ivs/evs/natures, so creating the "perfect" pokemon doesn't mean anything to me. In fact the stronger my pokemon are, the less appealing the game is to me. But also with that said i still like to work on completing the pokedex, i just don't have the means to get my hands on certain pokemon like starters/version exclusives. And the few times i have tried to use the GTS it was a nightmare, either everyone wanted a lvl 9 or lower reshiram, or the pokemon was already received by someone else and yet it would stay in the gts.
