He was somebody that seemed strong enough to fight for what he believed in, but who understood that he had to do it in a way that would be accepted by the world around him. He was confident that he was right, and he went for it.
As for why I thought that the Ferris wheel ride was romantic, it was mostly the setting, but also simply that he felt ready to open up so quickly. When he challenged me to become the best and fight him as the champion, I actually got invested. I saw him as a better rival than we had been given previously. I wanted to beat him and show him that he wasn't right. Were I in that kind of situation, I would have respected him as an adversary, but wanted to win to show him that there was a middle ground, that the world wasn't so black and white.
Also, his hair is my favorite color, and I like guys and girls with really long hair.>>13838311Sure thing.
