I have been troubled, /vp/. I heard of X and Y and was excited, at first. But then I saw the graphics... those 3D models... ugh, my excitement shriveled quite a bit. I tried to see the best of it. They looked better than the Colosseums, at least. But losing glorious 2D was still a heavy blow.

As I was wondering about this, though, I had a thought: over the generations, the sprites went through a massive improvement. Perhaps these 3D models will eventually be the same? Maybe I'm just trying to make excuses for myself.

What do you think, /vp/? Is there hope for Pokemon's graphix?
