You missed the point. Eviolite is for mons that still can evolve, it doesn't matter if it's through item or levels or friendship or whatever.

Garchomp and Lucario can evolve now. Do they count for Eviolite?

Anon's point (as I understand it) is that technically the pokemon is fully evolved unless its holding the mega stone.

No mega stone being held means its fully evolved, and that means no eviolite benefit.

What I'm trying to say is it matters on the situation. A Lucario/Blaziken/etc. that doesn't hold a mega stone is fully evolved, when it holds the mega stone it becomes not fully evolved.

Look at it this way, the torchic line counts as the numbers 1, 2, and 3. Eviolite would benefit torchic and combusken as there's still at least a whole interger between them and the next evolution.

Mega Blaziken would be 3.5 in that line, so eviolite won't count it.

Whut. With that logic eviolite wouldn't work on any Pokémon that gained an evolution later through item, like Porygon.

I'm not saying it's not possible, but it doesn't prove anything.
