Did you know there hasn't been a single Kadabra TCG card since years due to a C&D of Uri Geller, a "psychic" who the spoon thing was supposedly based on?

I kinda get why he's mad, Kadabra is based on him, hell Kadabras japanese namn is basically Uri Geller in japanese, Yungerer.

Speaking of Uri Geller, this is a fun video of Uri Geller gettinx exposed as the phony he is. His biggest trick is bending spoons, which is done by bending them back and forth beforehand so they're loose. When he went on this show, they gave him a brand new set of spoons and told him: BEND THEM! It's funny just seeing him lose it.

Watching the show was amazing back before I had played the game. I don't think I talked my mom into buying it for me until they were a decent way through the Indigo League. Every time a new Pokemon shows up and totally wrecks Ash's shit it was awesome because you had no idea what kind of powers it had.
