It uses that stick in most of its move animations, like a magic wand. Fairy makes more sense than Psychic in that case.

Dedenne, Jigglypuff, Marill/Azumarill. Spritzee, Swirlix, Flabebe, Slyveon all shit on this theory as of now, showing relations to either the Moon or emotions

I'm really hoping for a Fire/Fairy last stage, and haven't ruled it out completely (although many signs point to it being Psychic). The reason is I just can't see Chespin going Grass/Dark. If he goes Grass/Steel (Which I do think is possible), Fire/Fairy would make sense.

I'll cross my fingers, but I won't be too terrible disappointed if it receives the Psychic type instead of Fairy.
