i agree mega mawile, with it's retyping will be one of the strongest (read: OP) as well as one of the most used.
though, i just caught a shiny mareep in platinum so i'll be having myself a fabulous shiny mega ampharos, as well as a shiny mega garchomp

Has my fav typing and what is shaping up to by my third fav typing, and I love this thing's design.

Possibly mega blastoise if I use blastoise. I'm looking to use a lot of gen 6 pokemon currently revealed, gonna have a hard time choosing.

I actually think Venusaurs' mega is pretty cool.

Maybe it isn't as drastically different from the normal sprite as Blastoise or Charizard's megas are but I prefer it that way.

Also, thick fat. Ready to Venuwall my way through OU when everyone will be expecting a chlorophyll build.

I was thinking similar myself. Dittonite lets a transformed ditto turn into the mega form of the pokemon it's copying.

Well, not really. You either need to base your moves off of being a sunny day sweeper or a thick fat wall.

Sure, there are a few moves they might have in common--like leech seed or Giga drain maybe, but other than that they're going to be radically different. Don't even get me started about IVs and EVs.

Your EVs and IVs don't need to be spread too differently.

Basically the main thing I'm noting is that everyone's going 'YOU ONLY GOTS THICK FAT' and forget that going mega is optional, so you can build accordingly.
