Rock/Ice has the potential to sweep, though.
Walled by steel, but other than that it offers a great coverage.
Ice/Ground is still miles better, but with passable stats it could be useful as a late game sweeper, or at least a viable attacker in VGC.

Except Bug is a shitty offensive typing, while Rock/Ice offers a great coverage and, coupled with a 110 base speed (enough to outspeed all dragons with a choice scarf, except the rare Timid Latios that's not crrying Hidden Power Fire, in which case it speed ties, and also most of the OU tier), it's perfect for anti meta. Not as good as Mamoswine yet, but we have to learn it's stats. Refrigerate has some serious potential, too, making Return a nuke.

Electivire is a Karenfag pokemon.

Luvdisc is an utter abomination. It blows ass even in-game, and is completely and absolutely useless competitively.
Luvdisc is, as he aptly puts it, shovelware bullshit.

To put it differently, a Karenfag pokemon isn't necessarily useless or usable competitively; it's just meant to be a pokemon as is.
A shovelware pokemon is absolute trash regardless of what angle you're looking at it from.

So, they're on par with other pokemon in one gen's worth of sidestory bullshit.

However, in the main point of the game, and in the end-game competitive scene, they are fucking shit. Mind you, in this same area, the same pokemon that were exactly on par with them in contests can be and are actually good (see Suicune, Milotic, etc..)

That makes it a very nice supporter in raining doubles as it have swiftswim and 97 speed

You can use ANY pokemon you just have to be creative.

I use Pachirisu in my main double team and many people lost their shit because they don't have idea how to take care of it.
Maybe that's why I win.

Not only is swift swim banned, but even if we assume it's not, there are Pokemon that can straight up sweep, and skip the bull crap.

Also the only reason you win is you're either fighting complete shitty players, or surprise factor. Pachirisu is objectively a bad pokemon.

But no one has a team of 6 Mach/Bullet Punchers. Just remove the counters and you're good to sweep. And if it gets Ice Shard/Quick Attack, it can beat Breloom too, assuming 110+ speed.

Not in doubles mate. Also Is Smogon that banned it. So it's like not banned.

Anyway you seem you speak about 1v1 battles when doubles are really superior. You can use a lot more Pokemon there and many more strategies can be used. I really don't know why people focus only on 1v1 battles...

Nothing else can use that exact moveset. But if you want "fast support in the rain" there's better options. Whimsicott. There's a better option. Tailwind, Prankster, 108 (IIRC) speed, assorted status moves, fire weakness negated.

If it's the Heal Pulse you're after, there's Alomomola, Slowking, Slowbro, Latias, Gardevoir. And you don't need Infatuation/Confusion/Ally healing to be good at support. Heck, Infatuation is gimmicky at best.

Sweet Kiss is the only one that matters.
In this case, their are plenty of faster threats that can learn sleep moves. Hell, there are even slower ones that do it better.

Also, being outclassed doesn't mean you get the same moves and do it better. It means you have the same general goal and do it more effectively.
If this means not using the shitty moves like Attract and Heal Pulse that detract from the overall goal of the battle, then so be it.

Water/Ice is alright, though it's more because Water/Ice pokémond tend to be bulky as hell (Lapras, Walrein, Cloyster) and because Water in general is just good.

Rock is a shitty defensive typing, and combos horribly with other types.

Cradily's not good, but it's not bad. It's luckily not doomed with a shitty type combo and bad abilities/stats.

It just needs a better, more accessible movepool and it can do well. A better ability wouldn't hurt either.

Ice/Water, Ice/Steel and Ice/Ghost are the best you'll get. Ice/Steel does have those annoying weaknesses but at least it has 7 resistances.

I think he'll actually work very well in NU. He might be too good and have to get bumped up to RU. Both Ice and Rock are very strong offensive types in NU, unless gen 6 changes that. Unfortunately, fighting is pretty common in every damn tier, so his only option might be a choice set.
