And then there's the Bushmen/San of the Cape, whom I wouldn't even count as Black, for their skin is more reddish and their features softer than in Bantus.
Nonetheless, Unova is based on the USA, and most Blacks in the USA can trace their ancestry to western Africa, where the differences between peoples are less obvious (though I've seen Nigerians debate how more or less dark different ethnicities in their land are).
