So I'm having trouble choosing between which starters I'm going to pick.

My brain is telling me to go with Froakie + Charmander
But my heart wants Fennekin + Charmander

It would be stupid to have two fire types but I've always chosen fire types as my starters, also Froakie is a cool design and all, but he just seem boring.

Don't get me wrong, Froakie seems cool, but I'm just not into it. They went with a safe design for him and it's just not sticking with me. Water pokemon have always been a least favortire type for me

Starters haven't had good looking second forms since gen 2.

Furry jokes aside, Braixen is a pretty cool looking starter. I'll be picking her on the second run since Brokie had the job taken for the first run since day 1. Furry jokes didn't stop me from using Zoroark in Black 2 or Lucario in Diamond.
