Quilladin a Cocoon?

So I think that we shouldn't give up on Quilladin just yet...
Besides the actual cocoon Pokemon, Chespin wouldn't be the first Pokemon to evolve into an encased round awkward looking thing only to evolve again into a BAMF.

I'm pretty sure it's just going to be in bigger, more intimidating armor. Giant spiked armor would be sensible for a Dark type, and iirc the Pokejungle name leaks suggested the final evo's name was based on armor.

Which one is likely to belong to Chespin's final forme? Burigaron?

It seems Gekkouga and Mafokushii belong to Froakie's and Fennekin's final forme respectively.

OP, there's a problem with this image.

Pupitar and Shelgon are both entirely encased in a shell. They don't even remotely resemble their previous form in color scheme, shape, or design.

Quiladin on the other hand still looks like Chespin. He's got the same color scheme, the same design, and honestly, doesn't remind me of a cocoon at all.

The vibe I'm getting from Chespin is that with each evolution, the plant he wears on his body consumes more of him. I'm assuming his final evolution will be covered in even MORE plant, and will be bulky.

Why would you give up on him in the first place? He's adorably goofy. Anyone who dislikes Quiladin is most likely just looking for some edgy cool Pokemon and thinks that just because it looks silly that it's automatically lame.

That screencap is retarded.
Inside of the shell Shelgon is still probably pretty small.
Quilladin now, we can see it's fat arms and legs as well as part of its stomach.

The people comparing Quilladin to a cocoon are stupid. The Pokemon in OP's image are nearly completely encased and going into metamorphosis. Quilladin is just Chespin but fatter and with more armor. And the leaked name suggests it's going to continue this way.
