They wanted evolutions to Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur. So they got them.

They wanted Orchestrated music. So they got that.

They wanted 3D. So they got that.

They wanted their Pokemon to follow them again. They didn't get that. Instead, they got to interact with their Pokemon like a pet.

These are gonna be the perfect games.

And they're out in TWENTY.

They handicap my Pokemon because of luck. If I want to be on par with hackers I need to breed for hours. If I want the right Hidden Power I need to roll for a specific combo, which could take even more hours. There's no skill or engagement involved in getting good IVs, just mindless dice rolling. IVs are one of the worst mechanics I've experienced in a video game.

They'll be decent,but far from perfect,at least from what we've seen so far. If they had the theme,story and characters to match B/W's,then maybe,but they haven't told us much about those so far and I have a feeling I know why.

Only the first two are actual problems.

And I am only vaguely familiar with the second's problems. Remind me again what the deal is? You gotta pay for the service? That sucks but I also heard the first few months after release will be free, and that's all I need to transfer all my Pokemon to Gen VI.

They're shitty but as long as the move deleter exists they aren't really a problem.
Plus attacks like Fly, Surf and Strength can be somewhat useful.
