So since you're so new to Pokemon, allow me to give you a neat little tip about Eevee. Eevee evolves. Like eight different ways, five of which are openly accessible to you right now. A water, fire, and thunder stone all do what you'd expect, or you could be super awesome friends with Eevee and level it up at night to evolve it into a dark type or during the day for a psychic type.
